There's no join between wall and floor to hide in post, no shadow catching in the seam, and no horizon line breaking up the frame.

That matters more than it sounds. A flat corner creates a shadow that's hard to light evenly, and that shadow shows up in your footage whether you notice it on set or not.

The curve spreads the transition across a wider surface, so it's easier to light flat and harder for the camera to catch.

Yes. A studio gives you full control over lighting from scratch, and no background noise to fight against, which is something a location shoot can rarely offer.

On location, shifting daylight and ambient noise can make that much harder to hold.

Studios are also typically soundproofed, so there's no traffic, no passing conversation, and no unexpected interruption creeping into your audio.
