Even if audio levels spike unexpectedly and would normally clip, the 32-bit float recording preserves all information allowing perfect recovery in post-production. This essentially eliminates the risk of distorted audio from unexpected loud sounds.

How does the internal backup recording work? Each transmitter records all audio to its internal 8GB storage independently of wireless transmission. If wireless signal drops due to RF interference, distance, or obstacles, you still have pristine audio recorded locally on the transmitter. In typical indoor environments with walls and obstacles, you'll get reliable transmission at 50-100m, which covers the vast majority of production scenarios. For outdoor documentary work or events, the range is excellent.

Can I use one transmitter as a standalone recorder? Absolutely. Each transmitter can be used as a standalone recorder without the receiver - perfect for recording interviews or audio that you'll sync in post. Connect directly to smartphones via Bluetooth, or simply record to internal storage and transfer files later via USB-C.
