The FX9 is better suited for larger productions with crew support where the additional features and modular design are advantages.

You can adjust ND strength from 1/4 to 1/128 instantly without changing filters, and the automatic mode can adjust exposure seamlessly as lighting conditions change. This eliminates the time spent swapping physical ND filters and means you'll never miss a shot because exposure changed suddenly.

How long do the batteries last? The included Sony BP-U35 batteries provide approximately 2-3 hours of shooting depending on usage and settings. For longer shoots, the V-mount plate allows you to use larger capacity V-mount batteries which can extend runtime significantly. We include two BP-U35 batteries with the kit, and V-mount batteries are available as optional extras.

How far in advance should I book? The FX6 is one of our most popular cameras, so we recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekend shoots.
