Simone Rocha Spring 2027

For Simone Rocha's Spring/Summer 2027 show at London Fashion Week, we supplied a 4-camera live stream package, with every camera recorded for later use.

The show took place at the Old Bailey, London's Central Criminal Court, on September 20, 2026.

The Brief

Simone Rocha's SS27 collection took its cue from Caravaggio's The Taking of Christ, the 17th-century painting rediscovered in Dublin in 1990 that now hangs in the National Gallery of Ireland.

The show's 44 looks went down a runway set inside one of London's most famous buildings.

The production needed 2 things at once: a live stream going out as the show happened, and a full recording of every camera for the edit afterwards.

All of it had to work in a historic courthouse, with long cable runs and no second chances.

How It Came Together

3 FX9s with Canon CN10 cine servo zooms handled the main coverage.

The CN10's 25-250mm range holds a model in a tight shot from the far end of the runway and pulls back to a full-length frame without a lens change.

The American triple risers raised the cameras for higher angles, and the Toshiba minicam added a fourth, low-profile angle.

The cameras connected to the gallery over fibre, using Blackmagic's ATEM Camera Converters at each camera and Studio Converters at the switcher end.

Fibre carries the signal over long runs where standard cable would struggle, which matters in a building the size of the Old Bailey.

The ATEM SDI Extreme ISO did 2 jobs at once. It cut the live programme for the stream and recorded every camera separately, so the production had both the live show and clean ISO footage for the edit.

The live programme went out through a LiveU encoder, with audio embedded into the stream, an SRT pass-through server handling delivery, and mobile data for the connection.
