For The Other Songs Live 2026 at the London Palladium, we supplied an 8-camera package and an 8-person crew to record the show for later release.
The night raised over £400,000 for The BRIT School, with performances from Nile Rodgers, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cathy Dennis and Justin Tranter alongside BRIT School alumni and current pupils.
The Brief
The Other Songs Live is a fundraising concert that celebrates songwriters. In 2026, all funds went to The BRIT School, the free state school in Croydon behind artists like Adele, Amy Winehouse and Raye.
The show on May 19 needed recording to a standard fit for release. That meant multiple angles on a theatre stage, shots that could reach from wide to very tight, and every camera locked to the same timecode for the edit.

How It Came Together
A theatre show gives you one chance at every song. The package was built so the team could cover the stage from every angle without missing a moment.
The Canon servo zooms did most of the work. The CN7s and CN10 cover wide to mid shots, and the CN20's 50-1000mm range holds a tight close-up from a long way back.
With zoom and focus demands on the tripods, operators could work the lenses smoothly from behind the camera.
The 2 FR7s added remote angles, run by our PTZ operator from the RM-IP500. The FX3 on the RS 4 Pro gave the team a moving camera for the shots a tripod can't get.
Fibre carried the signal over the long runs between cameras and the monitors, and the MD-QUADs put multiple feeds on one screen so the DOP could see every angle at once.
The Solidcom kits kept the whole crew on full-duplex comms throughout the show.
With 8 cameras rolling, sync is everything. The Lockit boxes kept timecode matched across every camera, and our DIT handled the data on the night, so the footage went to the edit backed up and ready to cut.
The Result
The night raised over £400,000 for The BRIT School, helping fund free arts education for its pupils.
