When The xx returned to the stage in 2026 for their first live shows since 2018, we supplied a camera package that travelled with the production team for the whole run. One hire, 2 continents, and every show from Mexico City to the summer festival circuit.
The Brief
The production needed a single camera package that could go everywhere the band did. That meant 3 nights in Mexico City in April, then Coachella, Primavera Sound, Rock Werchter, Osheaga and more across North America and Europe.
It needed to be compact enough to travel, flexible enough to cover a different stage every week, and ready to clear customs at every border.

How It Came Together
This was 1 long hire rather than a string of separate bookings. The kit went out in March and stayed with the team until August, moving from show to show with them.
The package covered 2 ways of shooting. The FX6 on the Easyrig handled the moving, handheld work.
The FR7 and 28-135mm gave the team a remote camera with full pan, tilt and zoom control, since the FR7 needs a power zoom lens to zoom remotely.
The rigging kit meant a camera could go wherever a stage allowed, not just where a tripod would fit.
Kit crossing borders needs the right paperwork. We supplied the carnet information so everything could move through customs between countries without holding up the production.
The Result
The package stayed on the road with the team for over 5 months, covering the band's spring and summer run across 2 continents.
